Diversity Movie Reflection
         Bent it Like Beckham.

The story is taking place in Great Britain. It about an Indian young girl Jesminder, whose passion is playing soccer and she wants to play like her idol David Beckham. She lives with her parents and her sister. Jesminder used to play soccer in the park with boys but her parents don’t like that she plays soccer because they say soccer is for men, they want her to act like a girl ,know how to cook and find man to marry.

One day while she was playing is the park, she was spotted by Juliet, a young girl who herself play in a woman’s soccer team. But to go to the workout she had to hide. One day while the team has a match in Germany, she lied to her parents but they found it out. She was spotted by the recruiters from the US who will come attend the final but there is a problem. The date of that final coincides with her sister wedding. So she decided to give up the soccer and attend her sister wedding. But in the wedding ceremony her father noticed that she was not happy, so he decided to let her go play the final .On the playground she helped friend score a goal, and she marked one too and they won. As result she was offered a scholarship to go study in Santa Clara (USA)
